Link: Little BunBun :) I received the most precious email from Debbie who said I was driving her crazy in a GOOD way with the teaser for the memo board. She "begged"..OK asked me very nicely to tell what the design is so she can order it...unfortunately it is an OOP PS design called Woodland Sampling. I have wanted to stitch it for a long while now and I am enjoying it very much. It is definitely typical PS design and colors :) I love it! I am altering the design a bit for a more uniformed look on the Memo Board :) Sorry, Debbie-you may find it on the Bay of Evil...

Notice the ADORABLE pin pillow in the pic-it was a gift from Amy when I visited her last month. It is VERY well made and too cute! She has some for sale :) I just love mine!!! If you are interested in buying one-I am sure she would love to hear from you :)

Thanks so much for visiting with me today :) I appreciate it so very much :) Please do come again :) hugs and love from SC, BeckySC |

Link: A Plea.... I don't usually do this, but I am asking for help...I need a 16 Oz. Mrs Fields heart shaped tin to finish Liberty Tin Sewing Box...SWEET Shay sent me one last month, but alas it was a 14 oz and I need a 16 oz. I have the design all mounted and ready to add to the tin. If someone can send me the correct tin I would pay you back in cash, stash,a trade, a GC to an ONS or I would stitch you something in return. If you can help me-please let me know. My email is in the sidebar :)
You can see the kind of tin I need in this pic-this one is just the wrong size :(
Thanks SO much in advance :) Thank you all so much for your visits :) I appreciate each of you :) hugs and love from SC :) BeckySC :) |

Link: Before and after-Day 1....(picture heavy) **EDITED FOR MORE PICS** I have been doing some organizing and purging in my stitching room today. Due to the fact the room is so small and I have so much stash, finished projects and "finishing stuff" I have to utilize the room in the best possible way. Hubby made me a work table that I could put in the middle of the room so I could access everything I need from the table instead of being in a corner. He was so smart as I couldn't find anything I liked at a reasonable price OR a smaller size for the room...so by adding/securing a large piece of press board to the top of a 4 drawer Sterlite chest that I had in my stitching room- I now have a very durable work table with storage for the items I use most when doing my finishing work :)I am so happy with the end result of this table and best of all....it didn't cost us anything :):) :)We used materials we already had! I was going to paint it-but in the end decided not to as I will be pretty rough on it with using a Stanley knife for a lot of my projects-this way I can just sand the roughness out without taking off any paint! He added my yard stick ruler to the top for convenience. I also have 4 large drawers to keep the items I use the most when finishing. Wasn't that just a brilliant idea from him?? :) He sure is a keeper :)

I went from this being where all my ribbons/trims were stored and very unorganized...

 To this for my ribbons.

And my trims went from this...

 To this..

And my lace went from this...
 To this

All the extras that looked like this...

Are now organized in the bottom drawer.

**EDITED** I organized the two Shelves before bedtime :) We went from this....
To this :) MUCH better :)

Can you say HAPPY, HAPPY BeckySC??? I plan to tackle the storage shelves tomorrow...stuff sure has a way of getting out of place when you are looking for something or doing a lot of finishing :) It's long overdue to be organized :)
Thank you dear friends for your visits, emails and comments-you are all just so thoughtful and kind and I SO enjoy hearing from you :) Please do come again :) No update on the Memo Board piece as I have been busy in my stitching room all day today :) hugs and love from SC :) BeckySC |

Link: Somebody please send me something to finish :) **EDITED** I am SO in a finishing mood-the finishing bug has bitten me hard... but I have nothing left in my drawer to be finished. I did have this adorable piece that my dear friend Jan stitched for me quite some time ago (6 years ago) and I couldn't decide on a finish so it remained tuck away in the drawer until this morning when I was "craving" finishing so much I pulled it out and finished it into a cube. I LOVE it-PERFECT choice IMHO :)

I have picked HoHRH back up and started House 9. My goal is to get house 9 stitched this month-but if I don't no big deal as I don't usually set any kind of goal for myself as I find that takes the joy from stitching-but I would like to finish a house a month for the next 4 months :)

The weather here is HOT-it's in the 90's !!WOW!! That's usually Late June/July temps for us-too hot to be outdoors today and the pollen is worse than it has been all week-EVERYTHING has a THICK yellow coating on it and I didn't want to take my stitching outside for fear it would be covered in the pollen.
I was hoping to receive my pin pillow today, but alas I did not :)I am anxiously awaiting it's arrival :)
Awww...thank you all so much for your ever so kind emails I have received today :) I appreciate them so very much :) Thanks for your kind comments as well-you're the BESTEST!!! Thanks for stopping by-PLEASE do come again :)
Ladies, Please note that is was a request made jokingly :)(as in hurry up and send me something to finish before I go crazy!!!) I am truly not comfy with doing finishing work for others...I would be too afraid I would goof up :)

Last year I was so busy stitching for various shows I didn’t get any time to stitch up new designs for the shop. So over summer I was determined to get some new ones done. In anticipation of the newbies hitting the shop, I built a new store on site. As much as I [...]
